Sous Chef Food Service Leader

Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Take charge of kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement menus, driving innovation and excellence in culinary offerings.
- Lead and manage a team of cooks, promoting a positive and collaborative culture.
- Collaborate with suppliers, negotiating prices and securing the best quality ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Monitor and control stock levels, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent in a similar role.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Italian cuisine, including cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, inspiring and motivating your team.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Fluency in English is essential, with other languages advantageous.
