Job Description: Senior Account Manager, Social

The ideal candidate will be part of a global social & digital account management team in China and Hong Kong, acting as a senior advisor to clients on western social & digital matters.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Be part of a global and regional social & digital account management team
  • Act as a senior advisor to clients on everything western social & digital
  • Identify opportunities to enhance clients' businesses and grow revenue with existing and new clients
  • Manage and grow capabilities of direct and indirect team members
  • Contribute to cross-discipline social media teams spanning advertising, direct marketing, public relations, and shopper marketing
  • Campaign oversight in content activation, influencer identification, influencer outreach, and paid social
  • Manage financials in relation to the account
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong academic record
  • Minimum 5-6 years of account servicing / general digital advertising experience
  • Mastery of Mandarin and fluency in English (read and write)
  • A successful track record of retaining and strengthening business accounts
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and project managing large-scale regional and global social media brand platforms
  • Expertise in general social media platform knowledge
  • The ability to think critically and creatively, solve problems, and develop new possibilities
  • The capacity to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion
  • The ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • The capacity to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and appreciate cultural differences
  • An understanding of current and emerging media platforms and their usage from a consumer and business perspective
