**Job Description**

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user and desktop support across all offices, including remote and executive leadership support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting services for Office 365 applications, Windows 10 operating system, and other related technologies.
  • Managing Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 Exchange Online infrastructure.
  • Administering Citrix Cloud/Microsoft Azure VDA/VDI platform and providing related support services.
  • Maintaining and supporting HP Workstation, HP Thin Client, Lenovo laptop devices, and other hardware assets.
  • Supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android) managed through MDM platform (MobileIron).
  • Assisting in maintaining video conferencing systems (Zoom, Neat, Poly).
  • Providing support for Market Data Applications such as Bloomberg Anywhere/Terminal.
  • Conducting basic network troubleshooting, including DNS, DHCP, Network slowdowns, remote VPN/VDI connectivity issues, etc.
  • Ensuring timely logging and monitoring of service tickets for swift issue resolution and documentation using JIRA Service Desk.
  • Assisting with office moves and build-outs.
  • Managing device inventory and asset tracking.
  • Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • A minimum of 5 years of desktop support experience in a hedge fund or investment advisor setting.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Possession of passion for technology, self-development, and problem-solving.
  • High attention to detail and quick adaptability to various user and system environments.
  • Capability to work independently, multitask effectively, and follow through on tasks.
  • Thorough understanding of desktop support standards, hardware, and software best practices.
  • Experience in supporting mobile devices and troubleshooting remote VPN/VDI connections.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, scripting, automation, and packaging (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager) is advantageous.
