We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our museum shops, including staff management, sales, customer satisfaction, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to create an engaging and immersive shopping experience.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Liaise with the Senior Manager, Museum Retail Sales and Business Development to improve operations efficiency and drive business growth.
  • Monitor and manage cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Propose and implement marketing promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting KPIs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and Oracle POS system.
  • Ability to work on shift and adapt to changing priorities.
