About the Wholesale Banking Division
The Wholesale Banking division operates a vibrant business model dedicated to delivering financial services and solutions tailored to meet the strategic objectives of our clients. Our goal is to be the leading provider of banking services for Asia-based commercial entities, including small and medium enterprises, large corporations, financial institutions, and multinational companies. Our teams collaborate seamlessly with specialized units across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Group Retail to provide comprehensive solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and enhance existing client relationships while onboarding new clients.
- Advocate for banking products including fixed deposits, capital expenditure loans, trade and working capital financing, factoring, equipment financing, debt capital markets, and treasury services, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
- Manage daily client interactions to assess their current banking requirements and credit status.
- Design banking solutions and prepare credit proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Head, colleagues, and other stakeholders to devise strategic business initiatives in the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in client coverage within the commercial banking sector, particularly with mid-cap and large SMEs, demonstrating a strong sales performance in the region.
- Comprehensive understanding of credit and business dynamics within the commercial banking landscape, along with relevant industry knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers to achieve shared goals.
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
- Strong analytical and logical presentation skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
- ECF certification is advantageous.
