The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Advisor to join our team in the Luxury Handbags and Accessories department. As an Ambassador of Sotheby's, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, achieving sales targets, and developing a portfolio of local and international clients. You will work closely with the Salon Manager to ensure seamless operations and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while contributing to the Boutique's overall goal
  • Provide customized advisory services to clients, showcasing expertise and knowledge across luxury product categories
  • Cultivate new and existing client relationships through exceptional retail experiences and follow-up
  • Accurately capture client data for retention purposes and long-term relationship building
  • Partner with the Boutique Manager and local marketing team to develop event support plans
  • Assist with daily operations, including floor management, visual merchandising, and inventory control
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of security and compliance policies

Ideal Experience and Competencies

  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in luxury retail or hospitality
  • Experience in new store openings
  • High standards of client service and luxury hospitality
  • Ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and understand their consumer behavior
  • General knowledge of luxury products or luxury handbags and accessories
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Customer-oriented, collaborative spirit, and excellent communication skills
  • Able to work retail hours, including weekends
  • MS Office and computer literacy
  • Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, with very good proficiency in English
