Senior Infrastructure Specialist

At Recruit Logic, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux infrastructure technology to ensure a 24x7 service.
Key Responsibilities:- Infrastructure Development: Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7 service.
- Best Practices: Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
- Server Support: Provide L1, L2, and L3 level server support similar to current team.
- Software Upgrades: Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on servers.
- Scripting: Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.
- Infrastructure Improvement: Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
- Weekend Support: Provide weekend support on scheduled weekend changes.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support during off-hours if needed.
- Disaster Recovery: Participate in Disaster Recovery and BCP drills.
- Server Management: Manage Physical server infrastructure using remote access.
- Virtual Machine Management: Manage and maintain virtual machines in internal ESX farm as well as in AWS.
- Server Build: Build new physical and virtual servers as per standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
- Server Knowledge: Knowledge on servers installed with cluster software and databases.
- Linux Experience: Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for 6+ years.
- Cloud Experience: Previous working experience with external cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- OpenShift/Kubernetes Experience: Previous working experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes etc. deployed in internal infra.
- Linux Knowledge: IN-depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat both physical and virtual environment.
- Server Deployment: Hands-on experience with physical/VM server deployments and commissioning.
- Server Hardware: Experience/knowledge on various HPE or other server hardware and architecture.
- Automation: Expert in automation using Ansible or any other tools.
- Scripting: Capable of automation using scripting language such as Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Windows OS Knowledge: MS Windows OS knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Veritas Knowledge: Good to have knowledge on Veritas cluster and Veritas Storage Foundation.
- Tools Knowledge: Good to have worked on/knowledge of tools such as BigFix, OneView, ITRS, Service Now, SCOM, CyberArk.
