Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Join Kuehne+Nagel as an IT Infrastructure Specialist and take on a key role in supporting our Hong Kong and Macau business operations.

About the Role

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting to our second-line support team. You will work closely with our global infrastructure team, the G China IT team, and external vendors on infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for monitoring assigned infrastructure proactively, identifying performance bottlenecks, and responding to system alerts and failures. Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration of local infrastructure and end-user IT environment in line with corporate guidelines and working instructions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to the second-line support team
  • Work with the global infrastructure team, G China IT team, and external vendors on infrastructure projects
  • Monitor assigned infrastructure proactively and identify performance bottlenecks
  • Respond to system alerts and failures
  • Administer local infrastructure and end-user IT environment in line with corporate guidelines and working instructions
  • Assist with IT security incidents, anti-virus, intrusion, and data leakage prevention
  • Manage Hong Kong and Macau IT assets and procurement tasks
  • Perform IT routine tasks, such as onboarding and offboarding, IT-related audits, etc.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience in similar IT positions in MNC
  • Strong hands-on technical skills on Windows OS, Office 365, audio-video setup, and printing support
  • Experience on Azure AD and TCP/IP networking is highly preferred
  • MCSE, ITIL, and other IT-related trainings/certs are preferred
  • Experience on AWS, VMWare is nice to have
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player
  • Proven records on vendor relationship management
  • Fast learner and high degree of self-motivation
  • Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English, Mandarin is an advantage
  • College degree in IT or related field, prefer bachelor's degree
