Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implementation: Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that meet the company's needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  2. Network and Security Management: Manage and maintain the company's network and security infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, antivirus, web filtering, and internet connection.
  3. System Administration: Oversee daily IT system operations and performance monitoring, including health checks, backups, system optimization, change implementation, system integration, and security enhancement.
  4. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Analyze, isolate, and diagnose IT problems, and provide corrective, preventive, and improvement recommendations.
  5. Vendor Liaison: Liaise and negotiate with vendors or suppliers on quotations for setup, implementation, repair, and maintenance of IT hardware & software.
  6. Knowledge Sharing and Training: Provide Level-2 IT support, and maintain a knowledge base for ongoing support and training.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Build and maintain IT documents such as network diagrams, flow diagrams, SOPs, and user manuals.
  8. Software Updates and Security Patches: Test and deploy software updates and security patches on a regular basis.
  9. Automated Scripts: Develop automated scripts to facilitate operational tasks.
  10. Ad Hoc Tasks and Project Implementation: Perform ad hoc tasks and project implementation as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Degree holder in Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. Certifications: Holder of CCNA / MCSE / LPI / MCITP / ITIL is preferred.
  3. Experience: Minimum 7 years solid hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration.
  4. Skills: Experience in enterprise network and security design and implementation, Cloud platforms, O365, Microsoft platform, Linux platform (Suse & Ubuntu), Database servers, VMWare, WAF, Splunk, Fortinet, Sonicwall.
  5. Knowledge: Knowledge of VBScript, Powershell, Shell Script.
  6. Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, willing to work non-office hours when necessary, good command of spoken and written English, Chinese, and Mandarin is preferred.
