Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support: Provide technical support to both backend and frontend environments, including headquarter, resilience site, and remote offices.
  2. Infrastructure Support: Provide infrastructure support for Unix Server and SAN Storage, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  3. Production Support: Provide 24x7 production support according to support roster, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
  4. Server Management: Perform server installation, upgrade, and configuration, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  5. Problem Solving: Perform problem isolation and fixing, using technical expertise and analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
  6. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors on software and hardware maintenance support and upgrade, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  7. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance, disaster recovery drills, security patches, security audits, and follow-ups, ensuring proactive and preventive measures.
  8. Procurement Support: Assist procurement of license renewal and maintenance extension, ensuring timely and effective procurement processes.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  2. Experience: At least 6-8 years of working experience in Unix system administration and recovery, troubleshooting of hardware and software problems, patch installation, and software upgrade.
  3. EMC SAN Storage Expertise: At least 6-8 years of experience in the administration of EMC SAN storage, including hands-on knowledge and support on SAN device of EMC DMX3.
  4. Unix Administration Certification: Unix administration certification preferred.
  5. Additional Skills: Experience in Symantec VCS (Veritas Cluster Server) preferred, working experience in Government related projects preferred, and working experience in IBM Message Queue, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, or Hardware Security Module (HSM) will be an advantage.
  6. Oracle Database Administration: Knowledge on Oracle database Administration is a plus.
