Job Overview

As a Client Engagement Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue by facilitating connections between our clients and industry experts. Following a comprehensive training phase, where you will refine your skills in identifying, sourcing, and evaluating relevant specialists, you will begin to manage your own portfolio of clients. Your primary responsibilities will involve extensive communication with both clients and industry experts to accurately assess their needs and ensure the best possible matches.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze client requirements to identify the most suitable experts who can provide valuable insights. Provide exceptional client service by being a responsive, thoughtful, and proactive research partner. Engage with industry specialists through phone outreach to determine their fit for client needs. Negotiate and coordinate expert availability for client consultations, ensuring compliance with industry standards. After several months, you will take charge of the ongoing performance of your client portfolio, continually assessing their research needs and optimizing our services to meet them.

Professional Development

At Third Bridge, we are dedicated to fostering growth and development from day one. Our thorough onboarding program combines classroom learning with practical experience, equipping you with essential knowledge about our business, client perspectives, and effective strategies for securing expert insights across various sectors.

You will learn to identify key industry experts while enhancing your communication skills to engage effectively with senior professionals.

Typically, after 4 to 6 months, you will have mastered Specialist Management and will progress to our Client Engagement Learning Programme, where you will take on responsibilities related to client relationship management and project oversight. This program will prepare you to work with investor and management consulting clients, drive business outcomes, and lead project teams.

Advancement to a Senior Associate position is based on your performance achievements. At this stage, you will have the opportunity to select your career path:

Manager Track, which involves participation in our Emerging Leaders program to cultivate your leadership abilities and pursue a Connections Manager role. Client Development Track, focusing on enhancing your client engagement skills and unlocking increased bonus potential.

Relationship Building: Expand your network and foster relationships with clients and industry experts by delivering a premium customer experience.

Account Growth: Gain insights into client workflows and long-term investment strategies, enabling proactive account performance enhancement.

Commercial Acumen: Learn to navigate corporate structures, sector value chains, and key stakeholders, identifying critical drivers and dynamics to address client knowledge gaps.

Sales Effectiveness: Develop your persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively engage senior industry executives and facilitate client-expert interactions.

Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and adapting to shifting client demands in a fast-paced environment.

Stakeholder Management: Enhance your interpersonal skills through collaboration with colleagues to share knowledge and develop effective sourcing strategies.

Required Qualifications

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple requests with tight deadlines while maintaining high standards and attention to detail. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to build relationships with clients and a diverse range of industry experts. A keen interest in learning about various industries and the ability to quickly grasp essential information to identify suitable experts. A passion for financial markets and an understanding of the research directions relevant to our clients. A results-oriented mindset, motivated by targets and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. Team-oriented approach, collaborating with colleagues locally and internationally on projects. Openness to continuous professional development within a feedback-driven culture. A degree with strong academic credentials and/or significant experience in a client-facing role.
