Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, Client Solutions at GLG, you will play a critical role in supporting the client-facing team to tackle credit clients' investment-related questions. You will work closely with the Credit Client Solutions Team based in Hong Kong to provide clients with thorough and timely project support, handling multiple client research projects on a day-to-day basis.

Key Accountabilities
  • Facilitate educational interactions between GLG Network Members and clients, enabling them to make informed and confident investment decisions.
  • Decode client requests, build and qualify primary populations of topic experts, and follow through until project completion.
  • Assist in programming live meetings, identifying relevant credit news and programming it into small group conversations between GLG Network Members and clients.
  • Enhance GLG Network Members by developing relationships with respected thought leaders and recruiting new senior executives and consultants.
  • Grow GLG client relationships by developing relationships with existing clients, executing projects, and conducting New Business Development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development team to develop customized products for GLG clients.
Requirements

GLG attracts employees from diverse professional and academic backgrounds. We require:

  • A solid understanding of the financial industry and credit investment.
  • A Bachelor's degree or above, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Fluency in an additional Asian language (Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Thai) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in capital markets, public relations, background check, due diligence, or research roles in relevant industries.
  • Demonstrated performance and business judgment in areas such as in-depth research, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to identify best matches and solutions for requests and questions, and handle increasing responsibility over time.
  • Successful track record working in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, working around the clock for clients while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
