About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned operations manager with a proven track record in people management, technical support, and data center operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in capacity planning, rack delivery, installation, decommission, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the performance of a team of data center operations professionals
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of day-to-day data center operations, including queue management, 7/24 shift arrangement, and hardware logistics
  • Develop and maintain expertise across all aspects of data center operations
  • Measure and meet operational KPIs and metrics
  • Drive process improvement, technology innovation, and automation within the team
  • Manage large-scale events and act as the incident commander
  • Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations
  • Focus on delivering high-quality services and continuously improving customer experience
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience with direct reports
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of change, problem, and incident management
  • Literacy in security and customer data protection
  • Demonstrated communication skills in presentation, open discussion, and team coaching
  • Fluent English verbal and written proficiency
  • Financial understanding of annual budgeting, Capex, and Opex concepts
  • Project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of data center MEP infrastructure, including power, cooling, and facilities management
  • In-depth knowledge of data center operations, processes, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in data center safety and security measures
  • Knowledge of data center server capacity planning
  • Data mining and analysis skills
  • ITIL Foundation, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or risk-related certifications
  • Data center-related certification, such as CDCP/S/E or CDCMP/TP
  • Linux certification and/or administration experience
