Job Opportunity at West Kowloon Cultural District Authority

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Performing Arts Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and organisation of performing arts programmes, events, and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performing arts programmes and events;
  • Monitor local, regional, and international performing arts trends and analyse implications for the West Kowloon Cultural District;
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and the public to ensure participation in activities;
  • Provide administrative support to the Xiqu team;
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Recognised university degree in Performing Arts, Cultural Studies, Art Education, or equivalent;
  • 3-4 years of experience in the arts and cultural field, preferably with knowledge of Xiqu;
  • Strong passion for the performing arts and excellent self-motivation skills;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with strong administrative and multi-tasking abilities;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
