The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority seeks talented individuals dedicated to the mission of establishing the West Kowloon Cultural District as a premier destination for arts, culture, and entertainment.

Learning and Participation Officer

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Performing Arts (Learning and Participation), the successful candidate will play a key role in collaborating with various stakeholders, including artists, arts organizations, educational institutions, and the community. This position involves active coordination with internal teams and providing operational support for multiple Learning and Participation initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating collaboration with the Performing Arts Division to design and implement audience development strategies, family-oriented festivals, and community engagement activities;
  • Coordinating with different departments, potential audience segments, partners, and participants;
  • Assisting in the research, execution, and assessment of programs;
  • Ensuring the timely execution of high-quality events;
  • Maintaining an organized filing system for projects, including documentation of photos, videos, and post-event evaluations;
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support for all operational functions of the Learning and Participation team.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A recognized university degree in fields such as performing arts, cultural studies, arts management, marketing, communications, or arts education;
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the arts and cultural sector, with a preference for knowledge in arts education and outreach initiatives. Experience in coordinating volunteer programs is advantageous;
  • A strong network of potential partners and audiences;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Robust administrative and multitasking abilities;
  • Self-motivation and the capability to work independently while delivering high-quality logistical support and program execution;
  • A genuine passion for the performing arts and a proactive approach to completing assigned tasks;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
