The Retail Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of a retail establishment, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enhance Sales Performance

Drive sales initiatives to maximize profitability. Monitor and manage the store's sales metrics. Implement effective product and sales strategies. Regularly communicate sales objectives and targets to the team. Keep the team informed about key performance indicators such as Conversion Rate and Average Transaction Value.

Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience

Create a memorable shopping experience that engages customers through a structured approach.

Team Development

Foster an entrepreneurial mindset within the team. Show consistent appreciation and support for team members. Provide opportunities for professional growth and learning. Ensure effective staffing by recruiting and developing top talent.

Operational Excellence

Adhere to and enforce store standard operating procedures. Manage store opening and closing procedures, cost control, and manpower planning.

Visual Merchandising and Inventory Management

Ensure accuracy in cash handling and timely collection. Set up and maintain attractive visual displays for promotions and seasonal events.

Innovation and Productivity

Encourage ideas that lead to productivity enhancements. Inspire the team to actively participate in improving operational efficiency.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Technical Skills

Proficient in MS Excel for reporting purposes. Expertise in cash and receipt management. Knowledge of productivity improvement techniques. Experience in team development and training. Skills in interviewing and selection processes. Understanding of inventory management and loss prevention. Competence in sales management and forecasting.

General Skills

Ability to develop team members. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Effective decision-making skills. Leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 5-7 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills across all levels of the organization. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation. Capacity to challenge and improve operational processes.
