As a General Business Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales engagements in the General Business segment, primarily in Hong Kong and Taiwan. You will work closely with Partner Management and Line of Business Sales teams to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with Partner Business Managers to develop business plans for the territory, identifying opportunities for further growth and collaborating with other sales teams.
- Responsible for creating, monitoring, and reviewing business development activities around solution and industry specialization areas, defining innovative approaches to generate business, and executing strategies to achieve KPIs.
- Coach partner sales representatives to interact with prospects in large or complex software deals, positioning the value of SAP solutions and ensuring high conversion rates from pipeline to deal closure.
- Drive deal closure by inserting yourself in big and complex opportunities, balancing direct and indirect activities to maximize revenue in the assigned territory.
- Enable partners to independently drive business by providing resources such as partner demand generation plans, competency plans, resource utilization plans, and presales coaching plans.
- Monitor the effective use of SAP assets by partners and report on sales progress throughout the year, identifying deviations from plans and engaging in measures to deliver goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of software selling experience, with a good track record of sales and experience with cloud solutions
- Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
