Job Title: Assistant Manager, Facilities Management

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager, Facilities Management to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operation and provision of soft services for our Museum, Conservation Storage building, and a grade A commercial tower.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager, Facilities Management in formulating, reviewing, and refining management processes and procedures for routine operations and improvement.
  • Assist in budget planning and monitoring, as well as preparing documents for procurement and payment in compliance with related guidelines.
  • Monitor the outsourced facilities management vendors to ensure quality services are delivered and as per contract requirements.
  • Work with the Technical Services team for daily operation related to venue operation, and liaise with Museum teams such as Exhibition, Curatorial, Conservation, Visitor Services, Venue Operation, Learning, Design & Technical teams and their vendors.
  • Manage emergency incidents, resolve any incident in a timely and effective manner, and recommend and drive continuous improvements.
Requirements:
  • Recognised university degree in facilities management, building studies, property management, building services, engineering, business management, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in property and/or facilities management with on-site experience in vendor management, venue operation, and cleaning services in sizable non-residential projects.
  • Proactive, independent, responsible, and a good team player with proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
