Key Account Wine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Wine Specialist for Hong-Kong / Macao / Taiwan / Philippine roles. The ideal candidate will be passionate about boutiques and quality wines, bringing proven experience in wine sales with a living and active client base. They should possess extensive knowledge of wine and a keen desire to continue learning about the industry.
As a target-oriented professional, you will strive to achieve outstanding results working with our best Boutique Wines portfolio to become a top sales performer. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the client base.
You will conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities and trends in the wine industry. You will maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will identify and engage potential new clients through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the client base.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities and trends in the wine industry.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Educate clients on the portfolio of boutique wines, providing detailed product information and recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales deals effectively.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in wine tastings, events, and trade shows to promote brands and products.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure efficient delivery of products to clients.
Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
Requirements:
- Must have excellent command of the English and French language, both in written and oral form.
- 5+ years in Wine Industry with profound knowledge in Bordeaux wine sector.
- Exhibits exceptional negotiating skills in commercial discussions, and skills in coordination and communication.
- Extensive knowledge of wines, particularly in boutique and quality wines tasting, and a passion for the industry.
- A living and active client base in the wine industry.
- Willingness to handle wine presentations and host wine dinners in the evenings and on weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address client issues and challenges effectively.
