Job Title: Sea Logistics Operational Key Account Specialist, International Supply Chain

At Kuehne+Nagel, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sea Logistics Operational Key Account Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Key Account team, you will play a critical role in enabling our customers to optimize their supply chains through our order management and sea transportation management solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Sea Logistics Operational Key Account Specialist, your primary objective will be to execute our business strategy by minimizing operational risk and operating costs while optimizing service delivery and profits across the region. You will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve this goal.

  • Build, empower, and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Responsible for order management of the ISC team in Asia Pacific and collaborate with national members on account operations.
  • Responsible for standard procedure, KPI driving, and data management to improve the sales portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Enable the team to deliver against operational commitments and development plans.
  • Ensure audit program governance and maturity while ensuring improvement plans are documented and delivered against.
  • Proactively participate in business reviews and ensure supply chain value roadmaps create mutual value.
  • Drive standardization and scalability of operational processes and control environments.
  • Translate structural/recurring issues and risks into functional requirement specifications for the development of new systems, processes, controls, training, policies, and facilities.
  • Act as support to projects and initiatives relating to improving customer acquisition, implementations, and product/system development.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record in leadership and a focus on operational excellence, along with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. You will also need to have knowledge across our operations and services, as well as the key attributes we are looking for in this role.

  • Supply chain education background.
