The role is pivotal in overseeing the operational management sector, collaborating closely with country-specific OKAMs, operational teams, and the global control tower to enhance our client's 3PL operational performance and processes. This position will deliver comprehensive operational management support, insights, and expertise to both origin and destination markets, catering to internal and external stakeholders worldwide. Additionally, the role will involve conducting audits, managing CFS locations, and providing strategic guidance on process flows, KPI metrics, performance assessments, and innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


• Enhance and sustain existing buyer's consolidation operational processes, ensuring seamless service delivery and continuous improvement for both our organization and our clients.

• Oversee 3PL operations and establish robust processes for our key global customer to guarantee operational excellence.

• Initiate and drive improvements in 3PL processes and systems development.

• Take ownership of 3PL KPI performance, including conducting root cause analyses and formulating corrective action plans.

• Assess productivity levels and provide guidance and support to the global control tower.

• Establish, maintain, and manage both internal and external CFS KPIs.

• Continuously recommend process enhancements and implement lean logistics methodologies.

• Conduct audits of CFS locations for incoming and outgoing shipments and associated documentation to ensure precision.

• Engage with customers at origin and destination markets, as well as regional and global offices, to evaluate warehouse services.

• Identify potential deficiencies in current procedures, systems, and tools; propose strategies to address any identified gaps.

• Coordinate compliance efforts to ensure standards are upheld and QHSE objectives are met within 3PL operations, including those of suppliers and subcontractors relevant to client service deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in ocean freight operations within a global forwarding or logistics firm.

• At least 7 years of experience in 3PL buyer's consolidation operations, logistics, and contract management.

• Comprehensive understanding of ocean freight and 3PL operations across various sectors is essential.

• Strong operational expertise, coupled with excellent process and project management capabilities.

• Experience in servicing global clients in the retail industry is advantageous.

• Ability to communicate effectively across functions within a matrix organization.

• Customer-focused, demonstrating high integrity and professional standards.

• Proficient in both English and Chinese.
