The Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the successful execution of client activities. You will contribute to Burson's performance by supporting senior team members and leaders in managing client relationships, exceeding client expectations, generating new business, and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support senior team members in planning and implementing PR initiatives for a group of accounts within time and budget constraints.
  2. Develop high-quality materials such as press releases, bylines, briefing books, and other communications collateral.
  3. Maintain relationships with prominent media members within and outside clients' industries, staying current on news that can benefit clients.
  4. Create professional, actionable client-facing communications, status reports, campaign summary reports, and general account activity reports.
  5. Participate in new business development, including brainstorming and research.
  6. Be an effective team player and contribute to an inclusive working environment that welcomes opinions, ideas, and suggestions from all sources.
  7. Experience or interest in ESG issues is preferred.
Requirements
  1. Degree qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate communications/public affairs in a PR agency.
  2. Great media relations with regional and local media across sectors.
  3. Experience in dealing with cross-market counterparts is a plus.
  4. Experience handling regional/international accounts is a plus.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese are essential.
