Executive Director of Sales and Business Development

SJM Resorts is seeking a highly skilled Executive Director of Sales and Business Development to lead our sales efforts in the Regional Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring seamless coordination between the Sales Department and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve/exceed business targets.
- Lead and manage all sales activities, including corporate, MICE, catering, and event sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key bookers, stakeholders, and partners.
- Conduct market research, gather intelligence, and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Monitor competitors' activities and develop strategies to stay ahead.
- Record and analyze sales data, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in business management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership or a similar role.
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
