**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Incident Technician to join our team at Infosys. As a key member of our IT service desk, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving software issues for internally developed, 3rd party, and market data applications.

About the Role:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose software issues, including firmware or OS drivers that enable desktop hardware functionality.
  • Provide support for operating system drivers, software, and firmware.
  • Escalate from helpdesk for application support, including in-house, 3rd party applications, and market data applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve software issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other support groups within the firm across multiple platforms.
  • Record and manage all incidents and requests in ticket-tracking systems.
  • Stay current on technology and participate in training programs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer care skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on tight timescales.
  • Experience using help desk call management systems.
