The Job

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Employee Benefits claims team, ensuring seamless execution and efficient processes.
  • Monitor and approve claims within pre-set authority limits, providing clear commentary and justifications.
  • Handle complaints and resolve disputes in a fair and timely manner.
  • Regularly review and improve the efficiency of our processes, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Implement development plans to achieve company objectives, driving growth and success.
  • Provide training to Employee Benefits staff on medical claim knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to handle complex cases.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of our systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Identify and prevent fraudulent claims, protecting our customers and the integrity of our business.
  • Produce accurate and timely claims and audit reporting, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as directed by senior management, contributing to the overall success of the company.

The Person

  • Hold a degree and have 10-15 years of relevant experience in medical insurance claims, with at least 5 years in managerial positions.
  • Possess a qualification such as FLMI, which is an advantage.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Employee Benefits insurance, including its complexities and nuances.
  • Be proficient in medical claims knowledge, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Be self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Be proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese Word Processing.
  • Demonstrate strong management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Able to initiate and implement technology and process changes, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Have a good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written forms.
