Under moderate guidance, oversee the management of medium to high complexity claims, ensuring effective handling of both liability and property cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage intricate liability and property claims effectively.
- Offer technical assistance to the team, focusing on process simplification and automation strategies.
- Conduct data analysis for Commercial portfolios to support decision-making.
- Organize and prepare presentations for client meetings, including the development of PowerPoint slides.
- Support the Claims Manager with managerial duties and other miscellaneous tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and governance throughout the claims process, maintaining high standards in decision-making.
- Adhere to customer service protocols and service charters.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in CAR, Liability, and Property claims, with a focus on managing large and complex claims.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Attained recognized industry qualifications (e.g., Senior Associate of ANZIIF).
- Proven experience in handling CAR, Liability, and Property claims with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Solid technical knowledge of relevant products and services.
- In-depth understanding of claims handling processes for Liability and Property Insurance products.
- Familiarity with local legislation and legal liabilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and protocols.
- Proficient in interpreting claims agreements.
- Strong understanding of policy interpretation and the litigation process.
- Extensive experience with all major aspects of the claims adjustment process.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Data analytical skills are advantageous.
