Business Development Role

A leading global corporate services provider, known for its strong reputation in the market, is expanding its business development team and seeking talented individuals to drive growth.

  • Establish key relationships with target clients and channels, such as law firms, banks, holding companies, and private equity funds, to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop a deep understanding of company products, jurisdictions, and competitors to effectively communicate unique value propositions to targeted prospects and clients.
  • Research key accounts to gain insight into their economic and regulatory backgrounds, and identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop target client lists, attend client meetings to understand requirements, pain points, objectives, and priorities, and prepare tailored solutions and market intelligence.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast to increase visibility of short- and long-term business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, corporate legislation, and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate with new clients on engagement processes and associated regulatory requirements to ensure a smooth start to the business relationship.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, accounting, or business.
  • Relevant experience in corporate services and structures, or private wealth offshoring services.
  • Familiarity with selling corporate structures, such as entities, trusts, and funds.
  • Proven sales track record with ability to manage complex proposals involving multiple locations and business lines.
  • Related network an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, and able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
