Business Development Director

At ICBC Asset Management (Global), we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Business Development team in formulating and implementing strategic business plans that drive growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership Role: Manage the Business Development team to achieve overall business objectives, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Market Analysis: Identify, analyze, and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and client needs to inform business development strategies.
- Pipeline Development: Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
- Deal Negotiation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and close deals that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop high-performing Business Development professionals who embody the company's values and culture.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in fund sales and distribution in the finance sector. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Deputy role.
- Licenses: Type 4 and 9 license holder is a must.
- Skill Set: Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, results-oriented mindset, and strong organization skills.
- Cultural Fit: Strong command of English and Chinese languages, including Putonghua, and good cultural fit with the ICBC Asset Management (Global) team.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with product development and investment teams to ensure alignment of overall business objectives. You will also be responsible for providing regular reporting and analysis of business development metrics.
