AsiaSat seeks a seasoned sales leader to drive revenue growth and market presence in the Asia Pacific region.

About the Role

The Senior Director, Data will lead a team of sales professionals to oversee and drive the sales activities of data and media services to our premium customers in Asia Pacific and/or assigned regions. This role requires strong skills in sales, negotiation, and account management, as well as in-depth knowledge of sales processes and cycles to achieve company targets and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market presence in Asia Pacific and/or assigned regions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer segmentation, and competitor activities to determine target customers and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure the sustainability of data and media services sales by overseeing revenue growth and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with other departments to leverage company capabilities in creating a winning go-to-market strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales progress and sales funnel performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, with a minimum 15 years' experience in sales and customer management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the telecom and satellite industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex bid and proposal management.
  • Ability to provide sector-focused advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to close.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
