About the Role:

The Assistant Manager, Learning & Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating general training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to crafting and implementing the L&D strategy for the head office, and conduct the annual training needs analysis
  • Develop engaging and relevant training programs, including online learning and face-to-face workshops for all regions that we operate, and source relevant faculty to run programs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and provide regular reports and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Foster and maintain good relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure the quality of the training programs
  • Ensure all learning initiatives and materials are culturally appropriate and aligned with the local context in the Chinese Mainland
  • Partner closely and effectively with different functional teams to align training programs with business goals and strategies
  • Collaborate with other Swire training departments to resource and potentially share materials

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in an international or multinational context including the Chinese Mainland
  • An open mindset, and the eagerness to learn new things
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, and a capability to navigate different platforms effectively are desirable
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English. Proficiency in Putonghua is desirable
