About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager, Business Development to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Data Center sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain deep partnering relationships with executive management teams and decision-makers in the Data Center sector.
  • Establish and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in assigned accounts.
  • Lead the development of strategic account plans and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular strategic account reviews and maintain account meeting cadence to ensure timely activities and reporting.
  • Track and qualify sales opportunities using approved systems and the JCI sales process.
  • Establish and foster team relationships within assigned account teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as an executive-level point of escalation for customer satisfaction issues.
  • Provide information on current and future pursuits and pipeline across assigned accounts to associated leadership teams.
  • Forecast and track growth against established baselines and account plans.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in any discipline, preferably in building services or engineering-related disciplines.
  • 12 years' relevant experience in sales or project management in the Data Center sector.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Data Center operations.
  • Good people network and client relations in the Data Center sector.
  • Strong technical background in PLC/control automation/BMS, etc.
  • Experience in business development in the IT/System Integrator sector.
  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
  • Influencer at all organizational levels, including the ability to develop credibility and trust quickly with senior managers/decision-makers.
  • Ability to think critically and systemically to develop effective strategies and achieve accountable business results.
  • Able to think strategically, manage risk, and be innovative in problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate high business acumen and understanding of finance.
