Job Summary

The Service Contract Manager will be responsible for managing sales of products and services to small and medium-sized customers within an assigned geographical territory. This includes retaining and growing business with existing customers and generating sales from new customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Anticipate and understand customer needs and match them with our product offering to maximize customer value and sales profit.
  • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Respond to more complex customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Collect and communicate relevant business and market intelligence to product and sales management by using the applicable systems.
  • Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
  • Prepare, propose, monitor, and review service contracts for existing and new potential customers.
  • Supervise the performance of the contracts and work towards compliance with the terms and conditions mentioned in it.
  • Coordinate and supervise all Sandvik personnel working at site to comply with Customer, Sandvik, and required regulatory Health and Safety standards.
  • Provide essential contract management services, by resolving conflicts and providing value-added services to customers.
  • Develop a sales and service plan for the designated customers.
  • Develop adequate service workforce to cope with the Aftermarket business growth within the territory.
  • Act as key contact and liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders on the status of the contracts.
  • Conduct contract-related analysis and data collection actively; and provide support for the Monthly and Quarterly contract review.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in contract administration, preferably acquired from construction or heavy machinery industry.
  • Associates degree or College Diploma in mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Responsible and independent, able to do multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded, and able to work under pressure.
  • Literacy and computer skills are both essential.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Current driving license is required.
  • HK resident with HKSAR permanent ID card is a must.
