Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to join The Pizza Project Wan Chai, a friendly outpost of our pizza restaurant for the people on Star Street.
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in running a top-quality, high-volume venue. You will ensure that the team is well-trained and motivated and consistently delivers our guests a friendly, approachable, caring and informed service experience. You will be identifiable as a manager whilst on the floor, greeting guests and dealing with any issues.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, has at least one year's experience as an assistant manager in a highly regarded restaurant, and is a hands-on, floor-based manager who enjoys being guest-facing.

Duties & Responsibilities- Implement and execute restaurant operations smoothly
- Provide training to the team to deliver the highest quality of service and sustain the brand image.
- Drive sales and revenue through marketing activities
- Manage stocks for daily use in the restaurant to ensure service requirements are met
- Supervise and coordinate the prompt, high-standard, efficient and courteous serving of food and beverages in the restaurant.
- Manage vendors' contracts and invoices
- Support the Restaurant Manager in coordinating various activities such as hiring and training, arranging schedules and guest requirements.
- Arrange for new employees' proper onboarding (scheduling training and ordering uniforms)
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
- Gather guests' feedback, respond accordingly, and resolve guest complaints
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in hospitality industry
- Strong management skill with a positive mindset and friendly image
- Understanding in MS Office
- A team player who is reliable and dependable
- Enthusiastic when serving guests
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Self-organised and details-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good business sense and operational, administrative and social skills
- Passion, determination and commitment for success in the F&B industry
