About the Role

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the standard for our store and inspiring your team to achieve it.

You will be the driving force behind employee satisfaction and engagement, elevating team behaviors and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your commercial acumen and operational expertise will be essential in driving performance and growth through excellent execution and commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Ambassador: Establish a constant focus on Brand, driving engagement, knowledge, and passion for the Brand across the store team.
  • Leadership: Be a presence on the shop floor, acting as a brand ambassador and role modeling Burberry behaviors.
  • Team Management: Monitor, coach, and provide feedback to the store team to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain a luxury environment, ensuring excellent execution and maintenance of Visual Merchandising guidelines across the store.
  • Digital Assets: Drive the use of digital assets to enhance the customer experience.
  • Talent Development: Retain and develop talent, leading, inspiring, and managing a high-performing, positive store team.
  • Capability Development: Continually elevate the capability of the store team through recruitment, staff development, mobility, and effective succession planning.
  • Customer Relationships: Nurture customer relationships, establishing and embedding customer-focused behaviors across the store team.
  • Store Performance: Drive store performance and productivity, building and maintaining familiarity with the local external environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence across all areas of the store, ensuring compliance with all corporate standards, policies, and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Alignment: Demonstrated alignment with the Burberry Store Management behaviors.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with experience in a luxury brand or in a luxury service and selling environment.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness, with experience in driving sales and conversion.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to comfortably navigate social media and e-commerce sites.
  • Flexibility: Flexible to work as required to meet store needs.
