Business Development Manager for Insurance Agency

Captar Partners is seeking an experienced manager to lead the agency channel and drive business development strategy. The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Agency and lead a small team to achieve growth goals.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving business growth through the agency channel, with strong knowledge of insurance products and market insights. They will be responsible for providing product advisory, sales information updates, and suggesting product highlights and advantages. Additionally, they will advise on favourable selling solutions for the sales team to enhance growth and achieve the company's business goal.
The selected candidate will participate in sales management, agency channel development, distribution sales, and marketing strategies, ensuring compliance with best practices. A bachelor's degree in any discipline and at least 8 years of experience in the insurance agency channel within an insurance company are required. Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese is also essential.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of the insurance industry, including product knowledge and market trends. They should be able to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies to drive business growth. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong ownership is also crucial.
