Captar Partners is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive the agency channel growth strategy and initiatives. The ideal candidate will report to the Head of the Agency and lead a small team to develop business development strategies and initiatives.
About the Role
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for gathering market insights, providing product advisory, sales information updates, and suggesting product highlights and advantages. Additionally, they will advise on favourable selling solutions for the sales team to enhance growth and achieve the company's business goals. As a key decision-maker, the Business Development Lead will determine the appropriate business actions and participate in sales management, agency channel development, distribution sales, and marketing strategies, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline and at least 8 years of experience in the insurance agency channel within an insurance company. A proven track record in driving business growth through the agency channel is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of insurance products and deep market insights are also desirable. Solid experience with agency channel development has added advantages. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment, being fluent in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
