This role presents an exciting opportunity to become part of our global Reward and Benefits team as the Senior Reward & Benefits Manager for Asia. This position can be based in our offices in Hong Kong or Singapore. You will spearhead our reward and benefits strategy across the Asia offices, overseeing a team of 2.5 direct reports to facilitate the execution and management of our reward, benefits, and wellbeing initiatives throughout the region.

Reporting to the Head of Reward & Benefits, the Senior Reward & Benefits Manager for Asia will be tasked with formulating, managing, and executing essential reward and benefits strategies, projects, and processes across the Asia region, including key locations such as Bangkok, Beijing, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo. Collaborating with regional HR leaders, you will develop a comprehensive reward proposition that integrates salary, bonuses, benefits, and recognition, while supporting the rollout of pertinent initiatives. A crucial aspect of success in this role will be your ability to cultivate strong relationships with colleagues across the Asia region to identify where reward and benefits strategies can yield the most significant impact.

To excel in this position, you will possess:

  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in a similar leadership capacity, although candidates with varying levels of experience may be considered if they demonstrate the required competencies and success in a relevant role.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits frameworks in Asia is highly desirable, along with prior experience managing compensation and benefits programs.
  • Familiarity with reward strategies in the legal sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of compensation principles.
  • Insight into market standards and best practices across various geographical regions.
  • Practical experience with market data and survey resources, including Towers Watson.
  • Proficient data manipulation skills, with the ability to create spreadsheets from scratch as necessary.
  • Capability to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with a working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint being desirable.
  • An analytical mindset for problem-solving, with strong numerical skills.
  • A client-centric approach, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills.
