Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Expert - Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Competence Centre, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's digital transformation initiatives by acquiring and sharing skillsets in the latest technologies.

About the Role:

  • As a Digital Transformation Expert - Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase technical feasibility when necessary.
  • You will propose technical solutions and oversee the selection of technologies and estimate resources required to develop proposed solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Your expertise will include articulating alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist.
  • You will deliver technical consultancy services to our customers and develop a high level of knowledge for products under focused competencies, being technically aware and able to provide complete solutions.
  • You will work closely with other technical towers (Application, Security, IoT, etc.) to develop end-to-end solutions for customers.
  • You will identify, build, and manage partnerships with product vendors to strengthen product capabilities and get up-to-speed with upcoming technologies.
  • You will act as a key member in the Technical Competence Centre to acquire skillsets in the latest technology to drive the company's digital transformation initiatives.
  • You will oversee Project Implementation in the capacity of System Architect / Technical Lead.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience with substantial project work in infrastructure-related design and good knowledge of architectural principles.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience with public/hybrid cloud architecture design and/or project implementation.
  • Certification in AWS/Azure/Google is a plus.
  • Ability to keep abreast with the latest developments in technology.
  • Detail-oriented and sensitive to numbers is essential.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese is a must.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
