Ciena Communications Singapore Pte. Ltd. is a leading technology company that prioritizes innovation and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our Global Partner Community (GCN) team in Singapore.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to develop and manage business within the regional GCN sales vertical. You will play a critical role in driving demand, expanding opportunities, and achieving financial performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional GCN Demand and Execution Plan: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive demand in the region, leveraging your industry expertise and network to identify new business opportunities.
- Business Planning: Accountable for short, medium, and long-term business plans to achieve financial performance objectives, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.
- Innovative Go-to-Market Models: Drive creative market models, including MOFN variants, management models, and advanced service offers, to stay ahead of the competition.
- Customer Advocacy: Represent customer needs within Ciena, ensuring necessary product features, delivery dates, and pricing are met, fostering strong relationships and trust with customers.
- Forecasting & Execution: Ensure SalesForce forecast accuracy and execution against plans, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Internal Coordination: Align strategies with Direct GCN Sales Teams and International SP Sales Teams, facilitating seamless collaboration and communication.
- Integrity: Always be respectful to our customer and colleagues and commit to Ciena's mission to succeed in the right way.

About You:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of overachieving in an MOFN sales role. You should have:
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge, influence, and network within the GCN industry community, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
- Competitive Insight: Advanced awareness of the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities to differentiate ourselves and stay ahead of the competition.
- Proven Success: A track record of overachieving in an MOFN sales role, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering results-driven outcomes.
- Technical Proficiency: Technical background in optical networking, especially 6500/waveserver, with knowledge of network engineering and sales engineering roles being a plus.
- Carrier Experience: Experience working within a carrier, particularly with Hyperscaler customers, is advantageous, but not essential.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is SGD $120,000 - SGD $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
