A renowned retail corporation based in Hong Kong and with a significant presence in both Hong Kong and China, is currently hiring for the position of (Assistant) Manager in their Partnership & Business Development team. The company specializes in the development and management of large-scale shopping malls and tourist complexes, seeking an exceptional individual to join their team.
About the Role- Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations to drive traffic and engagement at the shopping mall/tourist complex
- Identify, pitch, negotiate, and secure partnership agreements for unique experiences, events, and gimmicks
- Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including contract negotiation, scheduling, logistics, and post-activation analysis
- Cultivate and expand the mall's network of casual leasing partners for short-term retail, food & beverage, and entertainment concepts
- Work cross-functionally with the marketing, operations, and leasing teams to align on partnership opportunities, execution, and KPIs
- Analyze performance data and generate reports to measure the success and impact of partnerships
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive activities, and new partnership models to identify innovative opportunities
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in partnership/business development, event marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of identifying, securing, and managing successful partnerships
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English, presentation, and project management abilities
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique, engaging partnership concepts
- Familiarity with the retail, hospitality, and/or entertainment industries
Estimated Salary: HK$65,000 - HK$90,000 per annum
