About the Role

The Territory Development Representative - Greater China is a key position at Workiva Hong Kong Limited, serving as the primary point of contact for prospective customers in the region. This role requires a hunter with exceptional communication skills, able to develop strong relationships with influencers and decision-makers at an executive level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with field sales to develop and execute ongoing engagement strategies with assigned customer and prospect accounts to drive revenue goals.
  • Provide in-depth research and intelligence within target accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information.
  • Prospect into target accounts through various strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, social outreach, and referrals.
  • Qualify leads and contacts based on specifically defined criteria to transition meaningful sales leads into the pipeline.
  • Maintain active engagement with existing customers and non-customers to increase interest in additional Workiva solutions.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation in Salesforce and CRM systems.
  • Drive attendance to various events, such as webinars and conferences, and provide post-event follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain a current understanding of Workiva's solutions and competitive product/market knowledge.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly, monthly, or quarterly goals and metrics.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of related experience in a similar role, preferably in lead generation, sales development, or sales prospecting.
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with customers in Taiwan.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Capable of learning, developing, and integrating skills in an online training environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
  • Proven success in meeting sales goals and metrics.
Travel and Working Conditions
  • Up to 10% travel for customer or team events.
  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely.
