About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join its Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the firm's global learning and development strategy, while also developing and executing a region-specific strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior HR Managers and HR teams in Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore to deliver a learning and development strategy for the APAC region.
  • Liaise with the global learning and development function to ensure alignment across regions for key learning initiatives.
  • Build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the business to identify learning needs and propose innovative solutions.
  • Manage APAC cohorts of global programs and ensure they are tailored to regional needs.
  • Take responsibility for APAC learning and development projects, leveraging the latest technologies and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Identify, design, and deliver learning and development interventions to support local needs.
  • Monitor the engagement with and impact of learning on business performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external providers and bodies.
  • Work collaboratively with other training and knowledge management teams to ensure a seamless and aligned learning offering.
  • Assess how the firm can leverage technologies to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Represent the APAC region at global learning and development meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience gained in a corporate global company and working in a global COE or similar model.
  • A passion for learning and development.
  • Demonstratable ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, confident presenter, able to engage at all levels.
  • Strategic acumen and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrable professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
  • Strong strategic thinker and influencer.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships across a global network.
