HSBC is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our Business Banking team as an International Relationship Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and take your career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire, manage, and grow assigned portfolio of Business Banking customers, taking timely credit actions as needed.
  • Effectively manage, develop, and retain quality business relationships with customers.
  • Protect the bank's assets and reputation by understanding customer needs and business operations.
  • Monitor for suspicious behaviour and take appropriate action as set forth in operating policies.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Take ownership of existing portfolio and explore new business opportunities through cross-selling and key business initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members and undertake other assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Proven commercial banking experience and relevant exposure in commercial credit/lending.
  • Good understanding of commercial banking products and services.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • High level of customer-centricity with a dedication to delivering exceptional quality services.
  • Excellent team player with a strong motivation to grow existing business and win new business.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese, with additional proficiency in Putonghua an advantage.
  • Relevant investment and insurance licenses required.
  • Holder of relevant insurance and investment licenses and compliance with related Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
