Commercial Partnership Specialist

The Commercial Business Partner plays a vital role in driving business growth while ensuring sustainability. This position is key to providing guidance and leadership to business teams, delivering exceptional support to clients, contractors, and producers, and driving management accounting, management reporting, and business improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Drive operational standards in line with legislative, contractual, and business rules.
- Provide commercial finance and partnering support to business heads for all commercial needs and business analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create a win-win situation for the organization.
- Deliver high-quality business operations support to internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Be the primary point of contact for back office matters, providing commercial acumen and advising on bigger picture strategies.
- Partner with teams to ensure accurate contracting, payroll, and billing processes are executed efficiently.
- Solve complex issues with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Lead the annual strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting process, including setting operational and financial targets.
- Manage the management reporting and business/financial analysis function.
- Translate business strategy into a detailed financial and operational plan, driving business innovation and selecting key metrics linking performance to strategy execution.
- Design and own monthly financial reporting decks for business heads and corporate heads.
- Own and manage reporting across other areas, including goal tracking, productivity, client performance, sales team performance, headcount, and ad hoc needs.
- Lead RFI/RFP end-to-end and support sales teams with rate negotiation, commercial discussions, and contract reviews to drive optimal outcomes.
- Coordinate contract reviews, including negotiations with the legal team to reduce contract risk and protect the business.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of the contract database.
- Drive operational efficiencies for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support personal and professional growth of sales teams through business coaching and skill development.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and open communication within the commercial team and across the business.
- Simplify processes and drive an ownership mentality.
- 5-10 years' working experience.
- Ideal 5 years' experience in commercial partnering roles.
- Proven track record in formulating and delivering business outcomes.
- Experience working with sales teams.
- Solution-oriented approach, ability to work through issues and find solutions.
- Experience providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Able to adapt to ambiguity, analytical, sociable, team player, takes initiative.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred but not essential.
