Empowering Clients through Strategic Relationships

As a Relationship Manager at HSBC, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients within the Taiwan market.

Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional relationship support to senior staff for key clients, growing revenues across the allocated portfolio, and successfully managing and serving existing business relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of establishing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers.
  • The ability to reposition the firm to higher value-added solicitation, enhancing the perception of the Bank amongst its existing and prospective clients.
  • Strong coordination skills to execute activities across multiple HSBC products/services.
  • Excellent networking abilities to establish and maintain relationships with other HSBC businesses.
  • Superior risk assessment and management capabilities to ensure required credit quality & requisite returns on risk.
  • The ability to identify event-driven opportunities and bring in sector/country expertise as needed.
  • Experience in growing HSBC's share of client wallet through effective product specialist engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills to assist in the management, development, and assessment of staff.
  • A deep understanding of relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • The ability to maintain HSBC internal control standards and implement recommendations from internal and external audits.
  • Proven ability to grow revenues, manage existing relationships, and originate new revenue streams.
  • Experience in managing junior coverage staff to support client performance.
