Job Description

At CMB International Capital Corporation Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization maintains the highest standards of ethics and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communication and Reporting: You will maintain effective communication with our Head Office, preparing management reports and following up on initiatives from Head Office.
  • Policies and Procedures: You will draft and update policies and procedures to reflect regulatory developments and internal requirements.
  • Internal Investigation and Disciplinary Actions: You will handle internal investigations and disciplinary actions related to compliance matters.
  • Advisory Services: You will advise business units on compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Compliance Monitoring: You will perform regular compliance checks, monitoring, and handling surveillance-related matters.
  • Staff Management: You will handle staff dealing, outside appointments, and compliance declaration-related matters, as well as staff training and internal reporting.
  • Other Compliance Works: You will perform other compliance works and ad-hoc projects assigned by the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University Degree: You must possess a university degree.
  • Relevant Experience: You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Languages: You must have an excellent command of written Chinese and be fluent in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
  • Analytical and Interpersonal Skills: You should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, responsibility, and the ability to work fast-paced under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
