Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our team at ICBC Asset Management (Global). The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the firm's compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

About the Role

The Senior Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing and handling general compliance work, including licensing, notification matters, and on-going advisory services. This will involve providing independent advice on AML and regulatory compliance related assignments and issues, conducting institutional risk assessments, and drafting and reviewing internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and handle general compliance work, including licensing, notification matters, and on-going advisory services;
  • Provide independent advice on AML and regulatory compliance related assignments and issues;
  • Conduct institutional risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies;
  • Draft and review internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Support the preparation of management reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Law, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, company secretarial, or internal control functions, preferably in asset management;
  • Good knowledge of compliance, AML, and local regulations;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Good computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
