About the Role:
The Senior Corporate Relationship Manager is a seasoned professional role at 11062 Citibank, N.A. Hong Kong. This position requires a seasoned professional with in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. The ideal candidate will integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requiring an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deepen relationships with clients, proactively owning, responding to, uncovering, and anticipating future needs, roadblocks, or risks and expectations.
- Manage internal departments to address customer service issues and serve as the clients' contact point.
- Introduce solutions to clients to build and strengthen an effective portfolio.
- Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' individual needs.
- Collaborate with Case Managers on client on-boarding and retention, ensuring compliance deliverables are met.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
- Drive innovation in solutions provided to clients and further develop the business where necessary and appropriate.
- Support Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals that balance risk and reward.
- Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence proactively.
- Assist Senior Relationship Managers or Team Leaders in researching and identifying prospective clients.
- Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.
- Prepare and oversee new transaction submissions and annual reviews for submission to the in-business credit lending management and independent risk department.
- Actively protect Citi's assets and reputation by being the first line of defense from a credit risk management perspective.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in a related field.
- Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes, as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients.
- Demonstrates core credit skills.
- Demonstrates an intermediate level of Early Warning Detection skills.
- Demonstrates ability to close deals and proficiently manage the credit origination process, gather and maintain credit documentation, and monitor accounts.
- Demonstrates advanced understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and statement analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- A self-starter with a positive/can-do approach, embracing changes and being bold.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation.
- Highly focused, able to rapidly identify key priorities, clearly communicate them.
- Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and demonstrating innovative approaches to meeting clients' needs.
- A proactive approach in looking for ways to strengthen business relationships with clients, delivering a simple, secure, and seamless client experience.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience delivered for clients.
- Able to quickly adapt priorities based on the latest data insights.

Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
