Job Description

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst with expertise in Life Insurance and core policy administration to assist with crucial process documentation. This role is pivotal in gathering business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders across various insurance departments to develop a comprehensive insurance reference architecture and service catalogue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage closely with business stakeholders to gather insights and develop an insurance service catalogue, documenting the AS-IS insurance process architecture, process models, and controls.
  • Documentation Excellence: Create clear, concise documents detailing process steps and requirements, such as user stories, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), or functional specifications for core insurance processes, including New Business & Policy Setup, Policy Owned Services, Claims, and Billing & Collection.
  • Standards Familiarity: Leverage your knowledge of insurance standards, such as ACCORD or IBM Insurance Reference Architecture, to inform your work.
  • Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and data dictionaries.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Analyze existing processes to identify gaps, pain points, and areas for enhancement, driving efficiency in insurance operations.
  • Project Updates & Communication: Provide regular project status updates, clearly communicate requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
