Job Description:This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the Vancouver market and local customer preferences. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies locally aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the airline industry.
- Provide direction and sales targets to HX sales team.
- Achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agencies, corporate clients, and industry partners.
- Monitor HX sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Marketing Initiatives:
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with HQ to optimize online presence and drive customer acquisition through various digital channels.
- Local Market Expertise:
- Leverage strong local networks to identify partnership opportunities and enhance the airline's presence in the Vancouver market.
- Stay informed about local market trends, customer preferences, and regulatory changes that may impact sales and marketing efforts.
- Budget Management:
- Analyze return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the airline or travel industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the Vancouver market and local customer preferences.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Proficiency in data analysis and marketing analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
